Saturday was an amazing day. The RR football team arrived at the school about 7:30 AM for breakfast, then headed out for Council on a blue & yellow chartered bus. It was a looooong road but the boys were determined and went into the game from the start with a spirit and heart that could not be deterred. The day was wet and cool but they didn't even let that get in their way of coming home victorious. They won the game 46-8! The road home was just as long, the bus not arriving back in Malta until after 1:00 AM. There were many spectators there unafraid to get their feet wet and show their team support. Next weekend the boys will be playing Oakley (again) & the winner goes to state in Moscow (Idaho, not Russia). Final Playoff game between RR & Oakley will be Friday night at 6:00 in Malta. Winner goes to State. Good luck boys!!!
